AirLetter is for adults aged 18 or over who want language practice and cultural friendship. These guidelines cover profiles, introduction requests, letters, cultural postcards and comments. The app is currently in development.

Language and friendship first

Be curious, patient and respectful. This is not a dating space. Do not send flirtatious, romantic or sexual requests.

Respect a boundary

Nobody owes you a reply. Accept declined requests and blocks. Do not pressure someone to share private details, photographs, contact information or meet in person.

No abuse or exploitation

Threats, harassment, hate, sexual content, exploitation and non-consensual imagery are prohibited. Do not impersonate people, publish private information or distribute someone else’s content without permission.

No scams or solicitation

Do not request money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, financial details, passwords or verification codes. Spam, deceptive links, malware and unsolicited advertising are prohibited.

Learn with kindness

Ask before correcting another person. Explain patiently, avoid stereotypes and make space for mistakes and cultural differences.

Respect the controls

Do not evade Requests, media restrictions, Inbox Shield preferences, blocks, suspensions or other safety controls.

Block, report and review

In the app, use the shield control on a profile or conversation to block or report unwanted contact. Blocking is designed to stop contact in both directions. Reports provide information for safety review; proportionate action can include warnings, restrictions, suspension or removal. Serious violations may lead to immediate removal. Confirmed external support and appeal contact details will be published before public account access.
